Super-hydrophobic thin films were prepared on glass by combining embedded nano-silica, subsequent fluoroalkylsilane coating. The
hydrophobic capability of film depended on the concentration of nano-silica suspension. And the super-hydrophobic thin film shows the high
transmittance in visible light wavelength
