Abstract :
Obesity, insulin resistance, and diabetes are related disorders of energy metabolism for which therapies are suboptimal. In this issue of Cell, demonstrate in mice that bone regulates the insulin/glucose axis and energy metabolism, providing a new framework for approaching common disorders of bioenergetics.
