Abstract :
Cell motility requires actin assembly mediated by Rac, a Rho family GTPase. In this issue, show that Rab5-directed trafficking of Rac to the cell membrane is required for Rac-mediated actin assembly. Trafficking of Rac may influence the mode of cell migration during morphogenesis and cancer metastasis.
