Abstract
Quorum sensing plays a key role in the behavior of many bacteria and is carried out by a wide diversity of secreted molecules and their receptors. In this issue, provide a detailed site-specific analysis of the functioning of the quorum-sensing receptor LuxN from Vibrio harveyi.
