AN ANALYTICAL NETWORK PROCESS MODEL FOR COMPETITIVENESS STRATEGIES IN FISHERIES INDUSTRIAL CLUSTER

Nowadays, the industrial clustering is being followed in almost all countries of the world. In Iran, also, the trend towards the industrial clustersʹ debate has attracted the attention of researchers, decision makers and the designers of development programs of the country. The most crucial discussion of clustering and cluster-oriented policies is creating the competitive advantage. In fact, competitiveness is the thermometer of the clustersʹ success. In the present study, the literature of development and competitiveness in industrial clusters has been reviewed; subsequently, the cluster of small and medium-sized enterprises of Chabaharʹs fishery has been introduced. Furthermore, the GEM Model and its factors, which are used for the assessment of competitiveness in industrial clusters, have been used for recognizing the effective factors of competitiveness in the industrial cluster of Chabaharʹs fishery. The prioritization of the factors was accomplished by giving the relative importance measurement questionnaire to the experts in the field of Chabahrʹs fishery industriesʹ cluster and employing the Super Decision Software. Finally, according to the results, some strategies have been presented to enhance competitiveness in small and medium-sized enterprises’ cluster of Chabahar Portʹs fishery industries.
