STUDYING THE DIMENSIONS OF INFORMATION SECURITY, BASED ON PASSIVE DEFENSE ENGINEERING

With the increasing spread of information technology in various aspects and in organizations, it is very important to consider the information security and it is a road map to reach the organizational goals through optimized performance of main business processes. With the change in type of the enemies invasions and threats in our era, the invasions aren’t in the forms of physical engagement, but the enemies inversion types, invasion goals and invasion methods have also changed and the enemy targets at assaulting the strategic center with the least cost and time. Therefore, the defense tactics must change accordingly and so must the way of performance and goals. According to issues discussed, this research investigated various aspects of information security based on engineering the passive defense, and after identifying those aspects, it investigated them. To do so, we investigated three subset departments, of Sari University of medical sciences, named as: the department of education in Sari University of medical sciences, the department of health in Sari University of medical sciences, and the department of research and technology in Sari University of sciences. Then we received the viewpoint of the managers and the elite in information technology through the researcher-made questionnaire in these three organizations and then by the statistical analysis we ranked the aspects of the security information and identified the priorities of information security aspects in each of the organizations.
