Abstract :
Sex steroids, including testosterone, regulate the development and function of the male skeleton. identify a surprising new connection between the skeleton and the testis, which has implications for male fertility. They show that testosterone production in the testis is directly influenced by the bone-derived hormone osteocalcin.
