Cement-matrix composites for thermal engineering

Cement-matrix composites for thermal engineering are reviewed, with focus on temperature sensing, Joule heating and heat retention. These composites contain admixtures such as short electrically conducting fibers and silica fume, so that the electrical and/or thermal properties are modified.
