Ancient resinous substances characterisation, an approach by principal component analysis

Resinous substances from Egyptian XII Dynasty tombs were analysed by high-performance liquid chromatography and photodiode array detection. The comparison of these substances results from their Chromatographic patterns, the UV spectra of the main constituents and infrared data. Principal component analysis calculation allows to regroup the studied samples according to their chemical composition.
