Gray forecast of Diesel engine performance based on wear

The traditional methods for forecasting the performance of Diesel engine rely on a great deal of original data, and are not suitable for a few data. In this paper, the relationship between wear and blow-by gas and the influence of blow-by gas on the Diesel engine performance are analyzed and calculated. Moreover, based on a set of wear and blow-by gas data, the Diesel engine performance is forecast by using gray theory. It is shown that the forecast results are consistent with the measured ones.
