Abstract
A novel sample introduction valve, based on the tubing clamp operation principle, is described for teaching flow-injection analysis. It was developed to overcome the shortage of instrumentation in elementary instruction courses in analytical chemistry at Fachhochschule Hamburg. The materials for one valve, which can be easily build-up by the students, is <$10.
