A study for optimizing the number of subareas in the Maxwells method

This paper aims at reducing the number of subareas needed for studying a large grounding grid by the Maxwellʹs subareas method. This is possible by resorting both to the similarity between grounding electrodes and to an exhaustive study of the formulas for calculating the voltage coefficients.
