Abstract :
The main aim of this research is to study the correlation between organizational effectiveness, participatory decision making and organizational performance in Golestan province industry, mine and trade organization. Based on the type of aim this research is an applied research and based on the data collection it is a descriptive correlative research which has been conducted in 2012. Field method is used for collecting the data and questionnaire is the tool for gathering the information. The research population includes 238 individuals and the sample size is 143 individuals. SPSS18 software is used for data analysis through Kolmogorov-Smirnov, Chi-squared test and Spearman’s correlation coefficients, Kendall-test and Wilcoxon signed-rank test. This research consists of three main hypotheses and eighteen sub-hypotheses. Test results of the main hypotheses showed that a positive significant correlation exists between the organizational effectiveness, participatory decision making and organizational performance in Golestan province industry, mine and trade organization. Also the test results of the sub-hypotheses showed that a positive and significant correlation exists between the organizational effectiveness components (improvement and promotion of society, services offered to the client, perception and satisfaction of the customers, undesirable and negative results of services offered), organizational performance components (reliability, attitude, quality of work, initiative, judgment, cooperation, quantity of work, security, learning and development, leadership) and participatory decision making. At the end a few applicable and research proposals are provided.
