Non-linear dynamic buckling of laminated composite shallow spherical shells

In this paper, dynamic non-linear axisymmetric buckling of laminated cylindrically orthotropic composite shallow spherical shells including third-order transverse shear deformation is investigated. Results of detailed parametric studies are presented to bring out the effects of transverse shear deformation, initial imperfection and viscous damping on the buckling load.
