Abstract :
Important and well-established superlattice properties are strongly determined by phase coherence, phase shift and phase interference phenomena. We study both the relation between: (a) the Bargmannʹs phase, the Chebyshev polynomials and the superlattice band structure; and (b) the giant conductance-resistance effects and the scattering amplitudes phase-shifts.
