Abstract :
We theoretically study the coherent pseudo-spin dynamics in Aharonov–Bohm interferometer containing laterally coupled double quantum dots (DQDs). We propose a novel blockade mechanism in laterally coupled DQDs suffering from a quantum interference effect. The leakage current due to the coherent pseudo-spin dynamics under such a blockade condition is examined using the non-equilibrium Greenʹs function method.
