Abstract :
Recent experimental data indicate that, along with the well-developed Hall plateau, the diagonal resistivity (Rxx) emerges as an anomalous peak when the parallel magnetic field B∥ crosses over a certain critical value View the MathML source in the bilayer quantum Hall system at ν=1. We propose the soliton lattice scenario explaining this phenomenon.
