Abstract
Spintronic implementation of a multiplexer is proposed here based on hierarchical model. The input and output bits are in terms of spin polarizations of exchange-coupled electrons housed in closely spaced quantum dots with their exchange interaction being modulated by a gate potential that allows or blocks the exchange interaction between the electrons. This implementation is much simpler than the one using universal spintronic logic gates and has greater accuracy.
