Abstract :
The correlation effect of shot noise through a quantum dot is investigated for the symmetric case at zero temperature. Employing the renormalized perturbation theory, we calculate the shot noise Sh and the Fano factor Fb=Sh/2eIb for a backscattering current Ib. The Fano factor is shown to have the universal form of Fb=1+4(R−1)2/(1+5(R−1)2) with the Wilson ratio R in any strength of the Coulomb interaction.
