  • Abstract
Single-walled carbon nanotubes using chemical vapor deposition with two different concentrations of catalyst were synthesized. Characterization of samples with electron microscopy and Raman spectra has shown that there are a large number of single-walled carbon nanotubes distributed evenly in samples with the range of distribution diameters ranging between 1.10 and 1.45 nm. Nitrogen adsorption at 77 K and pressure up to 1 bar were measured in both samples. Results shows that the surface area depends on the concentration of iron catalyst used for making the nanotube. Calculation of pore size distribution in micropore and mesopore range of samples shows that the shape of isotherm and also size of pores in the samples depend on the catalyst concentration. Sample with more catalyst has a wider pore
