Abstract :
The in-plane magnetic field (B||) dependence of cyclotron resonance is investigated in both single and double layer two-dimensional electron systems by Fourier spectrometry in tilted magnetic fields. The observed B|| dependence of the cyclotron mass (mC) is complicated and varies with perpendicular magnetic field in the double layer system. The splitting of mC by B|| around filling factor 2 is observed in the single layer system.
