Abstract
Photoluminescence experiments were performed on quantum Hall systems of diluted magnetic semiconductors, CdMnTe/CdMgTe QW, at high magnetic fields up to View the MathML source. Luminescence spectra were polarized owing to the giant Zeeman splitting based on the s(p)–d exchange interaction and oscillatory behavior was observed at integer filling factors. In the sample with the higher Mn concentration, a discontinuity of the luminescence peak was found at ν=1. In the sample with the lower Mn concentration, on the other hand, an additional weak luminescence peak at ν=1 appeared instead of the discontinuity in the main luminescence peak.
