Channel magnetotransport of surface electrons on superfluid helium

The conductivity of electrons localized in a quasi-one-dimensional channel over superfluid helium in the presence of a magnetic field normal to the surface is studied by means of the memory function formalism. The electron mobility along the channel is shown to be a nonmonotonic function of temperature affected strongly by the magnetic field.
