Abstract
In this paper, we give a consistent theoretical analysis of the in-plane Zeeman effect for quantum-confined light holes and evaluate possibilities to design structures with desired property of large g factor for these valence states. Numerical example is given for the technologically important InGaAs/InP both lattice-matched and strained heterosystems suitable for 1.3 and View the MathML source optoelectronic applications.
