Abstract
General and structure-dependent transport properties of double-wall carbon nanotubes without impurities are investigated. In most cases the conductance for the conduction band exhibits only small fluctuations due to vanishing of splitting of degenerated energy levels while in the valence band it can be largely reduced due to splitting of degenerated energy levels. Depending on the structures, possible antiresonance with edge states in inner tubes and the resulting conductance G=e2/πℏ are obtained.
