Abstract
The conductance distribution at the Quantum Hall localization–delocalization transition and the Anderson transition in the two-dimensional SU(2) model are determined numerically. In the quantum Hall case, the distribution is found to be well described by the largest transmission eigenvalue τmax, whose distribution we relate to a Poisson distribution. This is in contrast to the distribution of the critical conductance for the SU(2) model.
