Abstract :
We present a quantum coherent approach to describe electronic transport through quantum dots in the Coulomb-blockade regime. Our approach contains the standard sequential theory in the limit of very weak coupling. We show that our approach explains some puzzles on the statistics of conductance peak heights raised by recent experiments.
