Positive magnetoresistance in the variable range hopping regime in CdSe

Experimental results are reported on high-field positive magnetoresistance in CdSe sample in which range hopping occurs at low temperatures. Positive magnetoresistance associated with variable range hopping conduction has been observed. Experimental data are tentatively compared with available theoretical models in the insulating regime.
