Abstract :
The radiative lifetimes of four low vibration levels of the N2(C 3Πu) state are measured and rate constants of collisional deactivation of these states by N2, O2, H2 and H2O molecules are determined with the help of emission spectroscopy. To excite levels under study a high-voltage nanosecond periodic discharge is used.
