Abstract
The first-order electric field-induced spectrum of NO2 arises from off-diagonal elements of the Stark Hamiltonian and the first-order nuclear-quadrupole Hamiltonian. The first-order electric field-induced spectrum of NO2 was analyzed by semi-classical theory and observed by Stark modulation electric rotation laser spectroscopy.
