On the simplified state-to-state transport coefficients Original Research Article

Simplified expressions for the state-to-state transport coefficients are proposed. The main stress is on the diffusion of vibrational energy. The state-to-state diffusion coefficients are compared to the commonly used diffusion coefficients, and the role of non-equilibrium vibrational distributions in the diffusion process and heat transfer is estimated.
