Abstract
The collision-energy dependence of both product energy and angular momentum disposal of the HHL B + OH → BO + H and Be + HF → BeF + H reactions has been analysed in the light of the CPOAM (constant product orbital angular momentum) model, which allow estimates of the division of angular momentum disposal between product rotation and orbital motion. We have carried out the analysis by introducing the dependence of reaction cross section (σR) on translational energy (Etrans) through different excitation function models. Results thus obtained have been compared with those corresponding to three-dimensional (3D) quasiclassical trajectory (QCT) calculations on the corresponding potential energy surfaces (PES).
