Abstract :
The influence of the dopant iodine (I2) on fluorescence spectra, UV–VIS spectra and photoconductivity of the C60-toluene derivative is studied. The results show that the photoconductivity of the derivative doped with I2 has increased by one order of magnitude. The fluorescence and UV–VIS analyses indicate that a charge-transfer complex (CTC) of C60-toluene and I2 may be formed.
