A study on the luminescent properties of new green-emitting SrIn2O4:xTb phosphor

The new green-emitting phosphors SrIn2O4:xTb (x=0.125, 0.5 and 2%) have been prepared by solid state reaction at 1200 °C. With different levels of Tb3+ doping, the X-ray diffraction, photoluminescent properties, integrated fluorescence intensity, fluorescence decay lifetime and chromatic characteristics of the phosphors have been systematically investigated.
