A modified embedded atom method study of the high pressure phases of silicon

We report the results of a modified embedded atom method (MEAM) study of the high pressure phase diagram of silicon especially for the bc8, face-centred cubic (fcc), body-centred cubic (bcc) and simple cubic (sc) phases. Our results are in good agreement with the available experimental data and the first principles theoretical studies.
