Abstract :
We studied the interactions between a series of mono and diimide perylene derivatives and a water layer, using the rigid docking method. This study allowed us to estimate the potentiality of the docking method for the evaluation of the orientation of organic molecules deposited on a surface. Some of the orientations found suggest the possibility of excimer emission.
