Path loss prediction formula for microcell in 400 MHz to 8 GHz band

For future systems beyond IMT-2000, consideration is given to the use of frequency bands above 3 GHz and 1 km radius microcells. A path loss prediction formula is proposed for the radio link design of these systems using multiple regression analysis for measured data in an urban area.
