Low-cost algorithm for some bearing estimation methods in presence of separable nuisance parameters

The reduction of complexity of some multidimensional optimisation algorithms of direction of arrival (DOA) estimation with an array of sensors is studied. It is shown that upon a condition of factorisation of the steering vector, the criterion can be concentrated with respect to DOA, leading to a more simple 1D procedure.
