Optimum antenna matching to minimise signal correlation on a two-port antenna diversity system

A matching network is introduced to minimise the signal envelope correlation between two identical antennas spaced close to each other. The optimisation criteria are derived from the expression of the correlation as a function of the scattering parameters.
