Abstract :
The diastereoselective epoxidations of cyclohex-2-en-1-ols and the regioselective epoxidations of geraniol and their acetates using the in situ-generated dioxirane from 2,2,2-trifluoroacetophenone are reported along with comparable epoxidations with Oxone®.
