Abstract :
The total synthesis of four new 3-azasteroids is described, using the transannular Diels–Alder (TADA) reaction. Elaboration of the acyclic trienes, macrocyclizations and TADA reactions are detailed, as well as the stereochemical outcome of the reaction.
