Daphnezomines L, M, N, and O, new alkaloids from Daphniphyllum humile

Four new alkaloids, daphnezomines L–O (), have been isolated from the stems of Daphniphyllum humile, and the structures and the relative stereochemistry were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic data. The structure of daphnezomine L () was close to that of a biogenetic intermediate from secodaphnane to daphnane skeletons proposed previously.
