Abstract
Cribrarione A (), a new dihydrofuranonaphthoquinone pigment with antimicrobial activity against Bacillus subtilis has been isolated from a myxomycete Cribraria purpurea and its structure was elucidated by spectral data. The 1H–13C long-range couplings through an intramolecular hydrogen bond were clearly observed in the HMBC spectrum of .
