  • Abstract
    The synthesis of the southern (C1′–C11′) fragment of pamamycin-635A, isolated from Streptomyces alboniger, was achieved via an Evans aldol reaction, a cis-selective iodoetherification and a stereospecific deiodination as the key steps.
