Abstract :
A method for simulating the low-cycle strength of the parts of hydraulic equipment is considered. It is based on the energy model of similarity between low-cycle failures of a model specimen and the corresponding structural element. The method makes it possible to determine the shape and dimensions of adequate models and the conditions for their testing on the basis of similarity criteria as well as estimate the longevity of parts using the experimental data.
