Abstract :
Boronizing of the surface layers of steel 45 in the process of high-frequency pulse treatment of specimens is experimentally studied at a specific power of 12 kW/cm^2. It is shown that the microhardness of an eutectic boride layer up to 0.3 mm thick reaches 16 GPa.
