Abstract :
We present the results of frequency tests of a truss-type self-deploying reflector antenna that consists of an unfurling reflector of aperture 6 x 3 meters, a post for mounting the radiator that is rigidly coupled with the spacecraft, and supporting brackets that are hinged to the mounting post. The level of the dynamic input was minimized in order to make it possible to examine the reflector structure as a dynamic system with linear properties, for which the concepts of the natural vibration frequencies and modes are valid.
