Two component hydrogel with γ-amino butyric acid as potential receptor and neurotransmitter delivery system

The molecular recognition and self-aggregation between two types of therapeutic agents having discrete complementary functions have been detected. γ-Amino butyric acid and Fmoc-lysine self-assemble into nanofibers in water to formulate a new supramolecular hydrogel scaffold.
