Abstract :
The domino reaction of 1-aryl-1,3-bis(silyloxy)buta-1,3-dienes with 3-formylbenzopyrylium triflates, in situ generated from 3-formylchromones, afforded a variety of 2-benzoyl-4-(2-hydroxybenzoyl)phenols.
