Abstract :
We propose a physical model that makes it possible to explain the change of the physicomechanical characteristics of metallic materials when treated with impulsive electric current. Particular attention is devoted to describing the mechanism of the segregation and growth in the supersaturated, complexly-alloyed, solid-solution matrix of the fine carbide particles near the crystal lattice defects.
